The cottage is almost on the water and is Japanese-influenced with a lightness and openness to nature. Perfect for fantastic relaxation. On Husarö you can, among other things, hike, swim, fish.

Land and buildings
A simple house that is almost on the water. Open floor plan with living room, dining area and kitchenette. Windows facing the water. Simple materials and all doors are sliding doors. The nature around the cabin is fantastic and the water is clear and suitable for swimming. The cottage has electricity and fibre. Small people with sprained legs and people who have difficulty with mobility are not recommended to rent the cabin.

Bedroom
A small single room and a small double room.

Kitchen and water
The indoor kitchenette is equipped with two hotplates, small fridge with freezer compartment. press coffee maker. Cold water is available at the outdoor sink. There is no running water or sewage in the house.

Bathroom
Freezer toilet is in a separate building. Shower is available at Waxholmsbryggan 1300 m from the house, costs SEK 10/shower.

Miscellaneous
Mobile coverage is good and internet with wifi is available.
You can have a coffee or eat a simple meal at Husarö Lanthandel. On Husarö you can, among other things, hike, swim, fish.

You can explore the island on foot. Cultural landscape with meadows and deciduous trees, which changes during the hike to beautiful pine forest and smooth rocks. Did you know that Elsa Beskow got the inspiration for Putte in the Blueberry Forest on Husarö. Husarö was a pilot site until 1912. Pilots existed on Husarö as early as the 15th century. There is a pilot museum here to visit. Husarö is judged to be of national interest for cultural environmental protection and Husarö village is a so-called archipelago village that has its turn-of-the-century character well preserved.
