Lilla Abborren, Svartsö

Enjoy the peace and quiet or go to the tavern “Sågen”. Here you go on a regular boat.

Plot and buildings
The cottage is located on the host's plot. It has a nice veranda with patio furniture. A large meadow is located behind the plot. Approximately 800 m to bathing area and about 1 km to the restaurant Sågen. Sauna can be booked at, Abborrvassbad.se, about 1.5 km away. If you come with your own boat, a boat spot can be arranged on request. Bathing area with sandy beach is located at Alsvik.

Bedrooms and beds
There’s a bunkbed and a bed sofa with space for 2.

Kitchen and water
The room has a large kitchen table and the kitchen is equipped with a stove with oven, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, toaster and a radio.

Sadly, wells have begun to dry out more often in the archipelago. Therefore, we ask that all our tenants show some restraint in the amount of water that they consume. Please be as conservative as possible.

Bathroom
The shower is in separate house on the plot. An older fashioned toilet is also available in a separate house on the plot.

Miscellaneous
Mobile coverage is good.
Svartsö is a living island with many permanent residents and schools all year round. In Alsvik, 2.8 km, there is a store with generous opening hours, it also functions as a postal, pharmacy and alcohol representative and has bicycle rental. There is also a lovely café, tourist information and Alsvik's steamboat pier. Svartsö's new tavern “Sågen” is located about 1.5 km away in Abborrvass.

The nature on Svartsö shifts from mountains with hillsides to mixed forest areas and meadows. 1.5 km road network for walking, jogging and cycling. The island has agriculture that helps keep the landscape open. The island also organizes various activities such as entertainment, cultural week, flea market, hikes and more. It is nice to make excursions with Waxholmsbolaget boats out in the archipelago.

Sheets and towels can be booked on request.

2 bicycles can be rented during the week, 200 SEK.

If necessary, the host can pick you up at the jetty and transport luggage to the cottage for compensation.
