Sjösidan, Mjölkö

Cozy pier and lovely walk and bike paths. A lot of boat traffic to watch. This is also a completely car-free island.

Plot and buildings
Here you go regularly by Waxholmsbåt or your own boat. The cottage is located above the pier, you reach the cottage via a nature trail. Both the balcony and patio are provided with outdoor furniture. The view is breathtaking over the bay both from the house and the patio. The jetty has room for both sun loungers and seating area. If you come with your own motor boat or sailboat, it can be docked here. The neighbour sometimes needs to cross the plot to get to the pier.

Bedrooms and beds
In the living room there is a bedroom with a double bed. One room with a 120 cm bed. In the living room there is a sofa bed with two beds and the kitchen couch can accommodate a bed. In the shed there are two single beds, one of which is a folding bed.

Kitchen and water
The kitchen is equipped with a dining area, stove with oven, cooker hood, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker.
Sadly, wells have begun to dry out more often in the archipelago. Therefore, we ask that all our tenants show some restraint in the amount of water that they consume. Please be as conservative as possible.

Bathroom
The bathroom has an electric toilet, sink, shower and washing machine.

Other rooms
The living room has a fireplace and a sitting area.

Mobile coverage is good.

Mjölkö is an island where you go by regular Waxholmsbåt. It is a social and pleasant island with good cohesion between the site owners. There is a lot of nature to discover. Many paths to walk and cycle on. Lovely rock crevices can be found at Badberget.

There is no shop on Mjölkö, but you can go by Waxholmsbåt to Vaxholm and shop and experience the archipelago's gem, Vaxholm. There is a lot to do and experience here. The city is the hub of the archipelago's boat traffic and you can make boat trips out into the archipelago or into Stockholm. Here you will find cafés, cozy walks among charming old houses, restaurants, ice cream parlors, archipelago shopping. In Vaxholm there is also every possible service and a tourist office in the City Hall. You can also take the Waxholms boat to Linanäs on Ljusterö where there are several restaurants, guest docks, boat petrol and a small store.

Rent weekly with Saturday / Sunday change. To adapt the changeover time best to the boat timetable, arrival on Sunday is with the morning boat and departure on Saturday with the afternoon boat.

Cleaning is mandatory option and costs SEK 1,500.

Sheets and towels can be booked for SEK 150 / person.

Discount: Week 1 = full price. Week 2 or more = 10% discount.
