Hysängen, Yxlan

Hammock, badminton net, balls and rackets, water pool for children, cubes and boules are available. Swings and sandbox are in the immediate area. The nearest bath is about 500 m with cliffs and pebble beach. About 10 km to a sandy beach in Köpmanholm. The house has a porch view and in the garden there are outdoor furniture in several places. 2 bicycles are available to borrow in. In addition to the living room there is a guest cottage on the plot with a guest room and a toilet unit.

Bedrooms and beds
There are two large bedrooms, each with their own double bed in the main house.

Kitchen and water
The kitchen is well equipped, here you’ll find a stove, oven, fridge and freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker and finally a toaster.
Sadly, wells have begun to dry out more often in the archipelago. Therefore, we ask that all our tenants show some restraint in the amount of water that they make us of. Please be as conservative as possible.

Bathroom
The bathroom has a sink, shower and small washer. In the quest house you’ll find a simpler form of toilet.

Other rooms
The combined kitchen and living room, has a big dining table with seating for up to 6 people. There is also a sofa, some armchairs, a TV and an open fireplace. The guestroom has a its own sink.

Miscellaneous
Mobile coverage is good. Barely two hours to Arlanda and Stockholm. A lovely island for cycling, 2 bikes are available at the cottage. Many nice walks and lovely forests with berries and mushrooms when the season is right.

Road ferry from Furusund takes you to Yxlan, the crossing takes 5 minutes. The ferry runs twice an hour. To the next island, Blidö, another ferry can take you, it also takes 5 min. Blidö is well worth a visit. You can also go by bus and boat to the cottage, about 2 km to walk.

Shopping is done in the small kiosk at the ferry station at Yxlan. Or in Furusund at the gas station where there’s also a pharmacy and post office. In Furusund there is also an Inn. At Blidö there is a grocery store, a restaurant and various activities during the summer. The wonderful summer town of Norrtälje is 4 km away. Here you can, among other things, have lunch at the old steamboat S/S Norrtelje, which is located in the harbor.

You can also make a day trip to beautiful Åland. You go north to Grisslehamn and go across by the Eckerö line. You can also go to Kapellskär at Norrtälje and go with the Viking Line to Åland.

Boat trips from Ahlsvik and Yxlö jetties out to the outer archipelago, daily tours in summer.
The village has lived on agriculture and fishing.

The cottage can receive dogs, though cats are not permitted due to allergies.

Rent weekly with Saturday change. Arrival at 4pm and departure at 11am.

Weekends during spring and autumn can be booked on request, 2 days costs 4,450 SEK.

Cleaning can be booked for 1.200 SEK.

Sheets and towels can be booked for SEK 150 / person.

Discount: Week 1 = full price. Week 2 or more = 10% discount.
